Dianostic Medical Sonography or Radiologic Tech? Please help me^_^?

Since I was young I thought I wanted to be a registered nurse. Lately, I realize that I wanted to do mammograms or ultrasounds. I remember lying down getting my ultrasound down . I thought to myself this is interesting and I bet I would love this as a career. I start looking for schools here in San Jose, CA and I found a program at Foothill college at Los Altos, Ca. But I'm not sure which course to take. Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Radiologic Tech? What's the difference? The DMS course on their website doesn't explain much(description, career opportunity?) If you are in this field please help me decide and understand better. I thank you in advance^_^

I am in a radiography program (RT) and I want to do ultrasounds when I graduate, but when I get done, I am going to have to do an ultrasound program or find someone to train me on the job. A lot of places will do on the job training, some will not. You can just go to ultrasound school, or you can go to x-ray school (like me) and build from there. The answer is either, although when you graduate from xray school you are not certified to do ultrasound. There is more training needed and it is an entirely different board exam.
