Anyone here work in pharmaceutical or medical equipment sales?
I currently work as a Territory Manager for a Big Tobacco company, but I am unhappy with my job and the way the company does business. I am very interested in a career in pharmaceutical or medical equipment sales. Can you tell me how much you enjoy your job? How much do you make? Is your company hiring? What is the hiring process like? And once again…is your company hiring?? Please let me know
Pharmaceutical sales is far from easy, as you have quotas constantly, targets to meet on a regular basis, doctors to take to lunch, bosses who wish to know what you are doing, and days you wish to do nothing. The hiring process is an elimination process, sort of like American Idol, but is serious instead. One or 2 job vacancies with 100's of people applying.
Is anyone hiring? Who knows, you basically have to create a position within a company for you, it does not come to you. You must be totally committed, professional, excellent dresser, good looking, great personality. All others please do not apply.
